Description
This image was captured shortly after sunrise on a foggy late fall morning along the Cherohala Skyway, a National Scenic Byway. The skyway connects between North Carolina and Tennessee and because of the high elevation, the clouds often descend upon the mountain tops. Available in traditional fine art photography, original art print, and black & white versions; this is the original art print version; 3508
The Cherohala Highway is a great place to photograph year round. Along the highway there are many dirt roads and hiking paths. Down the side of the mountain is a dirt road that runs alongside a river for miles.
This day was foggy and dreary. But it, too, had its own character. This dirt road, disappearing into the fog, was a beautiful photo that could not be passed up. #interiordesign #fineart #decorating
